RAB Design Lighting Appoints Steven Little Director of Manufacturing and Engineering

Steven comes to RAB Design Lighting from Apollo HBC, where he held the position of Senior Director, Operations and Supply Chain. Prior to that, he has held COO and VP positions at major CPG companies in Canada.

Steven is an experienced senior executive with a record of success in implementing Lean (continuous improvement) methodology to create highly efficient manufacturing and supply chain results. He is an experienced leader in operations, engineering, quality control and supply chain in multi-plan environments, and has commissioned new plant start-ups, reduced millions of dollars in labour costs and waste, restructured quality systems, and implemented new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MRP (Material Resource Planning) and WMS systems (Warehouse Management Systems). In the evenings, Steven has been teaching operations, finance and supply chain courses as a professor at Humber College since 2008.

Steven is in his final courses for his Global Leadership MBA from the Sandermoen Business School Ufred, a BA from the University of Western Ontario, and holds his CGA designation, Lean Black Belt and Chief Lean Officer designations.

Reporting to the president, Steven will be responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s manufacturing and Warehouse Operations.  He will also plan an integral role in planning our strategic direction, development, and future growth.
