IES Edmonton Outdoor Lighting Tour: November 29

November 20, 2017

Join IES Edmonton for a two-hour outdoor tour of lighting around Edmonton. The tour includes the Terwillegar Park Footbridge (a National 2017 IES Illumination Award of Merit winner and shown in photo), the Legislature Annex and Walkway, the funicular tram at the Hotel McDonald, and the Rogers Place LRT station.

Along the way participants will see the Brewery District development, Snow Valley, the Jubilee Auditorium, and the new Walterdale Bridge.

This tour will provide the opportunity to see and discuss how lighting has been provided to both enhance the architectural presence of the structure and provide safety to the people around the space.
