Mac’s II Agencies Collaboration Helps Bring Tesoro’s Vision to Life
At the crest of False Creek, Tesoro stands as a contemporary interpretation of classic luxury, offering 92 exclusive waterfront homes in the heart of Vancouver. Developed by Concert Properties, this 17-story residential tower embraces a distinctly modern character, harmonizing sleek design with timeless sophistication.
The vision for Tesoro extended beyond its architectural presence—it was about creating an experience, beginning the moment one steps into the lobby. That’s where Mac’s II Agencies’ expertise came in, helping to illuminate a space that sets the tone for refined living. Each decorative luminaire in the lobby was customized to align precisely with the client’s renderings, ensuring the final result matched the aesthetic envisioned.
The lobby’s grandeur is defined by two striking lighting installations from Zaneen. Suspended above the reception desk, the Metropolis-Y creates a bold yet refined statement. A series of single 1-inch diameter tube pendants form geometric compositions, using elegant Y-shaped die-cast aluminum connectors. This custom installation was reconfigured from the original design to accommodate adjustments in the concierge desk, with a bespoke canopy built to seamlessly blend function with aesthetics.
Above the seating area, the Fieltebek fixture by Zaneen x Quasar takes center stage. Inspired by nature, its leaf-like form and dual-sided lamps create a sculptural focal point. A custom-designed brass canopy ensures a seamless integration with the surrounding interior, reinforcing the design intent with precision and elegance.
Throughout the lower floors, Luna and Slims from Liteline support the design and deliver a warm, ambient glow.
