Pickering College Lighting Project Highlight Demonstrates an Adaptable Lighting Approach That Supports Each Space’s Character & Function

At Pickering College, the new West Lake House creates a dynamic environment for teaching, learning, and connection.

Designed to double the school’s classroom space nearly, the new academic hub brings together flexible spaces that can adapt to different activities and ways of learning. For this project, Axis Lighting provided a lighting solution that integrates seamlessly with the architecture. Beam 2 was mounted high along several walls, with asymmetric optics on the indirect side and Stella 55 Monopoint heads on the direct side

The result is an adaptable lighting approach that supports each space’s character and function while contributing to a welcoming, engaging learning environment.
