New Taji Luminaire Announced by Cyclone Lighting

Cyclone Lighting is excited to announce the release of its new Taji luminaire. Taji’s captivating design features high-performance optics and enhances a variety of aesthetics.

Taji’s distinctive, stylish silhouette and slender lines are a refreshing departure from the ubiquitous dome luminaire. The unique flared form maintains a slender, minimalist feel yet provides high-performance optics. The luminaire brings a unique look and feel to various outdoor applications such as city and residential streets, parks, pathways, university campuses, courtyards, and multisport facilities.

The modular light engine is designed to meet the most stringent specifications and may be selected with 36, 54, or 81 LEDs. More than 14 light distribution types and the option to integrate crosswalk or backward optics options are available. The result is all-around lighting performance and directional versatility, ensuring light is delivered where the designer intended. Performance packages range from 2,900 lumens to 23,000 lumens, depending on the options selected.

Additional flexibility comes from the ability to orient the light engine’s optics in 90° increments up to 180°, enabling the integration of two distribution types within a single light engine. Both a roadway and an adjacent sidewalk or bike path may be illuminated from the same source, contributing to enhanced lighting and cost savings.

The luminaire can be selected with or without a lens. When choosing a flat glass lens, the entire light fixture is certified IP66-rated, ensuring superior performance and durability even in the harshest environments. When the luminaire is selected without a glass lens refractor, the light engine still provides a fully sealed IP66-rated experience with waterproof acrylic optical lenses and delivers increased photometric performance.

Taji is thoughtfully designed for simplified maintenance: a flawlessly integrated cast aluminum push-button latch provides easy access to the interior of the luminaire with just one hand. An innovative hinge allows the luminaire to remain open for maintenance without the need for an additional security system.

Taji luminaires are available in a range of standard and complementary colors, as well as wood color finishes that can be applied on the poles to enhance the aesthetic. Custom RAL matches are also offered to optimize the luminaire’s visual impact in a space. Both smooth and textured finishes are available.
