How LiFi Works
Signify’s Trulifi systems modulate light waves to transmit data, mostly using invisible light. A USB access key plugged into a laptop or tablet receives data and sends data back to transceiver. By leveraging lighting infrastructure, Trulifi customers get the best of both worlds: great quality Philips lighting and consistent, secure, low latency data connectivity.
Trulifi can be retrofitted in existing luminaires or installed as a single system.

Unique Physical Security
Trulifi uses AES 128-bit encryption. Information is accessed using a USB access key. An extra layer of security is built-in, as light waves can’t penetrate walls. This all helps to make Trulifi as secure as wired communication. Perfect for applications where security is paramount.
Low Latency for Real Time Data Streaming
Not only for gaming, but also for industrial LiFi applications VR technologies are widely used. When working wirelessly, most VR applications run on connections with a higher latency than desired, causing cyber sickness. Trulifi 6002 series has a net data rate of 220 Mbps downlink and 160 Mbps uplink. In combination with the unique LiFi-controller, large areas can be covered with seamless LiFi communication. Trulifi 6014
