Optique Lighting Defines a New Linear Lighting Category, Introduces Nano Linear Architectural Luminaires

March 13, 2023

Optique Lighting, a leading designer and manufacturer of premium quality LED linear lighting, is pleased to announce the launch of a new linear lighting category, Nano Linear, representing the intersection between high-quality tape lighting and architectural linear and cove lighting. Developed to fill a market need, Optique Lighting is reinventing the linear space, making it easier for lighting designers, architects and engineers to specify superior linear lighting solutions for general, accent, task and unique decorative applications.

“Our Optique Lighting architectural products are specifically curated to rapidly enable the design community to realize their vision in the most efficient way possible with easy ordering, fast quoting and short lead times for unique and patented solutions,” said Joe Flynn, president, Alloy LED. “Our talented in-house team builds our custom architectural Nano Linear solutions to a designer’s exact specifications from custom lengths to custom RAL colors — all delivered with a brilliant customer experience with unmatched service and product support.”

Technically advanced with several utility patents, the robust linear luminaires are thoughtfully crafted with innovative design features, resulting in unmatched optical performance and appearance. The Optique architectural line of modular, in-wall, surface-mount and suspended linear luminaires are powered by a Nano Linear Light Engine (White or RGBW) and are built and shipped as complete UL listed fixtures. To simplify ordering, the low-profile products will include all brackets, screws or accessories needed for installation.

The initial rollout of Optique Lighting products include:

· Pivotaire recessed mud-in linear system offered in five configurations – Straight, Wrap, Picture Frame, Zig Zag and Custom – with patented mounting system for simplified mounting at an angle and patented lens for uniform edge-to-edge illumination

· Armadio illuminated closet rod system with a patented internal truss design, the strongest in the industry

· Orbita collection of four modular wall-mount and suspended luminaires with patented 360-degree field-adjustable rotatable optics

· Angolo, Trapezio, Rettangolo I, Rettangolo II and Rettangolo III linear families with metal end caps, countersunk hardware and lead wire grommets to eliminate light leaks

The luminaires are powered by an Optique Nano Linear Light Engine that are offered in numerous lumen outputs (100 to 1,500 lumens per foot), seven color temperatures (2200K – 5000K CCT) and provide industry-leading 98+ color rendering index (CRI) and high R9 and R13 values. Color variation is kept within a 2-step MacAdam ellipse for unparalleled quality and consistency. The products are compatible with Lutron, Avi-on, Control4, Casambi, Crestron and Savant, as well as other commercial and residential control systems, and are cUL Listed.
