Jut Box OWTI Acoustic: Create Mesmerizing Design Features in Any Space
The Jut Box OWTI Acoustic by Barbican offers the possibility of adding dimension, color, and texture to an otherwise flat and ordinary ceiling. The Jut Box OWTI Acoustic expands the Jut Box family by combining a cost-effective light engine with PET felt in several shape and regress height options, providing a cost-effective option for an elevated look. Groupings of fixtures can create mesmerizing design features in any space.
Specifications
LED System
- LED circuit boards are mounted to metal trays for effective thermal management and uniform light distribution.
- LEDs are 90+ CRI with color consistency within 3 SDCM.
- Lumen output and correlated color temperature is field selectable per fixture, as shown in the lumen tables for source lumens, and varies with fixture size and acoustic material height and finish.
- LED modules and drivers are serviceable from above or below depending on ceiling condition and mounting method.
Electrical
- Standard driver is universal voltage 120/277 V with 0 to 10 V dimming, dimming range 100% to 10%, and power factor greater than 0.9. Driver location is integral to the fixture.
- Consult factory for emergency requirements, special control gear, PoE systems or alternate driver requirements.
- Fixtures labeled for nominal wattage. Actual wattage draw listed in lumen output table.
Construction
- Acoustic trim and drop components are fabricated from rigid PET (polyethylene terephthalate) felt. The material is dimensionally stable, moisture resistant, and contains post-consumer recycled content as defined in Barbican acoustic felt documentation. Base material thickness is 9 mm. Acoustic components are available in a range of standard colors. Availability and lead times vary by color, consult factory.

Finish

- Based on LED manufacturer data and TM 21 calculations, the system is designed for long life in typical indoor environments.

Warranty
- Each luminaire is engineered, assembled, and tested to Barbican quality standards, with components, thermal design, and electrical systems selected to ensure long-term performance.
