New Stretto Luminaire Offers a Sleek, Linear Form Available in Two Complementary Sizes for a Wide Range of Urban Applications
Cyclone has announced that it has released its Stretto luminaire. Stretto pairs a clean linear aesthetic with enduring performance for demanding urban environments.
Stretto’s sleek, linear shape is designed to integrate naturally into contemporary urban environments. A subtle, continuous contour line wraps the luminaire, revealing two distinct sections that seamlessly unite into a single, composed architectural form. It is offered in two complementary sizes to accommodate a wide range of urban applications.
The larger 54-LED version supports higher performance packages, up to 16,000 delivered lumens, for broader contexts such as boulevards and streets. The smaller 27-LED version delivers efficient illumination of up to 6,000 lumens for more intimate spaces, including sidewalks and bike paths.
Stretto is available in more than 14 standard distribution types, as well as the option to integrate crosswalk or backward optics options. The result is all-around lighting performance and directional versatility, ensuring light is delivered where the designer intended. In addition, the light engine optics can be oriented in 90° increments up to 180°, allowing two distribution types to be combined within a single light engine. This enables illumination of a roadway and the adjacent sidewalk or bike path, often reducing the number of luminaires required and supporting project savings.
A purpose-designed, direct-to-pole mounting arm creates a clean, continuous look, giving the impression that the luminaire is installed directly on the pole. This arm is compatible with round and square poles.
Stretto is thoughtfully designed for easy maintenance. An integrated push-button latch provides quick access to the luminaire’s interior using just one hand. This simplifies servicing and supports faster, safer maintenance in urban environments.
All Stretto luminaires come in a range of standard and complementary colors, custom RAL matches, and special wood finishes. Both smooth and textured finishes are available.
