Daniel Mendicina, EVP of Operations, Cooper Lighting Solutions 

Daniel is dedicated to ensuring all employees go home safely every day. He utilizes the Lean Phased Approach to drive 6S, quarterly campaigns, safety standards, and daily safety audits/walks. Daniel has overseen major changes during many CLS reconstruction facility projects, with lighting and controls being a significant part of the decision-making process. Under his leadership, CLS Manufacturing has achieved the best safety scores in both recordables and prevention over the past two years.

Dwight has worked closely with Daniel to focus on manufacturing sites and is now turning attention to distribution centers. Together, they have celebrated 5,500 safety days globally across all CLS facilities.
