Lighting Controls Association and DALI Alliance Announce MOU on Lighting Control Education

November 9, 2022

The DALI Alliance (DiiA) and the Lighting Controls Association are pleased to announce a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to educate the public about lighting controls and promote the use of lighting-control systems in different applications, including solutions based on the Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI®) protocol.

A council of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), the LCA is manufacturer consortium dedicated to public education and category promotion focused on lighting controls.

Under the MOU, the organizations will respectively share information with the public that spreads awareness of the application and benefits of lighting controls, including DALI-based lighting control utilizing certified DALI-2 and D4i components.

“The Lighting Controls Association is pleased to collaborate with the DiiA on advancing knowledge about advanced lighting control solutions,” said Charles Knuffke, Systems VP & Evangelist, Legrand Wattstopper and chair of the LCA.

“We look forward to working with the LCA to highlight the many advantages of deploying digital lighting-control solutions that are based on international standards,” said Paul Drosihn, General Manager of the DALI Alliance.
