L’Image Home Products is honoured to announce that it has received the 2020 ENERGY STAR® Canada Lighting Manufacturer of the Year Award for its significant contribution to environmental protection through the innovative promotion of energy efficient ENERGY STAR products. Natural Resources Canada recognized L’Image Home Products’ achievements in an announcement on June 23rd, 2020. This is L’Image’s third consecutive ENERGY STAR Canada accolade, following the 2018 and 2019 Lighting Manufacturer of the Year Awards.

As an ENERGY STAR partner in the U.S. since 2003, L’Image Home Products was honoured for increasing the visibility of the ENERGY STAR brand through its creative marketing strategies and a social media presence earning a combined total of over 117,000 impressions. 2019 was a year of significant growth and change for L’Image as well, with its product lines growing to include 26 new ENERGY STAR products, more than doubling its number from 2018.

“This ENERGY STAR Canada award is an honour for the entire L’Image Home Products team. We view this partnership with ENERGY STAR as one of our strongest and most meaningful. ENERGY STAR is central to L’Image’s identity as a company and at the heart of discussions of efficiency and sustainability internally and externally. We look forward to developing products that reduce greenhouse gas emissions while providing energy and financial savings to our customers alongside ENERGY STAR for years to come,” said CEO Jerry Zuchowicki of L’Image Home Products.

“ENERGY STAR Canada winners are building a sustainable, energy-efficient and resilient future. By reducing pollution, lowering bills and creating jobs, L’Image Home Products is helping Canada shine,” said the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources.

In 2019, L’Image Home Products also became a signatory of the Equal by 30 initiative part of the Clean Energy, Education and Empowerment Initiative (C3E), which works to advance the participation of women in the clean energy transition and close the gender gap.

In addition to this great achievement, L’Image Home Products was recognized earlier this year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with the ENERGY STAR Award for Partner of the Year.
