Liteline continued to celebrate 40 years in business this month at their headquarters in Richmond Hill by putting on a Holiday Open House for their clients and colleagues of the local lighting industry.

The event included live entertainment, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and was well attended by local (along with some not-so-local) lighting designers, specifiers, electrical contractors and wholesalers.

Liteline is a family owned and operated company that, since its humble beginnings in 1979, has grown into a world-class organization and one of Canada’s largest independent lighting manufacturers. Which is why they wanted to pause on December 5th at their warehouse-turned-lounge to celebrate those that helped them get to where they are.

“This is really a party for you guys,” said Mark Silverstein, Principal for Liteline, addressing Liteline’s Open House guests, “because, in the age of the multi-national conglomerate, in the age of globalization – there’s not many lighting companies based here, headquarters here, innovation here, coming out of Toronto. You guys represent the Toronto lighting community, the sales, the distribution, the specification; so, this is your party, put your hands together for yourselves.”

“Thank you for growing your business along side our business.”

“With 40-years behind us we’re proud of where we’ve come and we’re excited to see what the future holds,” added Sarah Silverstein, Principal for Liteline.

With Founder, Steve Silverstein’s retirement in 2018 the company is headed off by Sarah and Mark, along with their brother Daniel. After 40-years of innovation and hard work, they will look to continue that growth as an industry leader.
