IES Ottawa: Reimagining Travel through Light

November 6, 2017

How holistic lighting experience design can influence our future needs and expectations is the topic of a lunch meeting on November 16 with speaker Bernadette Berger from Teague Seattle. The topic: Reimagining Travel Through Light.

Travelling can be painful. Today’s traveller faces constant challenges as they navigate across land, sky and space. The future of travel will be reimagined through three illusions, all enabled by responsive lighting, memorable illumination, intuitive navigation, virtual reality, and connected physical/digital experiences. Berger will explore promising technologies, trends and emerging behaviours to identify how holistic lighting experience design can influence our future needs and expectations.
