April 12, 2017

Philips Lighting Canada continues its Beyond Illumination tour. The most recent event, highlighting the latest lighting innovations, took place in Vancouver on March 29 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Guests were able to experience the interactive displays, which included the most up-to-date lighting technology available for retail, hospitality, city and office environments. Shown in photo: Philips Lighting demonstrates how interactive connected lighting solutions can help students focus in the classroom, and reduce recovery times in hospitals.

The majority of attendees, which included architects, engineers, designers, specifiers, distributors and lighting industry professionals, attended afternoon seminars to earn Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits. Courses included the Art and Science of ColorKinetics, Office Lighting for the 21st Century and Environmental Lighting for Exteriors.

“Philips has been revolutionizing lighting for over 125 years and today’s lighting is beyond illumination,” says Pierre Legare, Vice President, Professional Sales, Philips Lighting Canada. “This event is about creating a lighting experience for our customers by bringing our innovations to them.”
