Founded in 1987, head office in Montreal and business in all Canadian provinces and throughout the United States, Eureka is a North American leader in decorative lighting solutions manufacturing. Their Plate Out just won over the 38-member jury of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015. The slim, cantilevered form of the Plate Out is the essence of clean and discreet design. Perfectly suited to both interior and exterior applications, Plate Out has been designed around a perfectly diffused 16w indirect LED light source that has on-board intelligent controls to allow dimming and automatic thermal regulation.  The body of the Plate Out is machined from solid aluminum to ensure the both structural integrity as well as efficient thermal management. Designed to IP-65 standards, this exterior lighting fixture can stand up to extreme weather conditions and physical abuse. Plate Out is designed to have just enough detail to catch your eye, yet fits seamlessly into many environments. The Eureka Lighting Design & Development team has proved itself in the 60th anniversary year of most important international competition for product design. The jury of international experts discussed and assessed each of the 4,928 entries from 56 countries, and only designs that won over the jury with their quality and innovative power were awarded the sought-after Red Dot seal of quality. Professor Dr Peter Zec, Founder and CEO of the Red Dot Award: “The laureates of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015 have demonstrated exceptionally high achievements and have thus been deservedly successful in the world’s largest design competition.”
