Switch APL

Now, more than ever, we see the need for better energy saving options, starting with advanced environmentally friendly options. Switch lighting’s target is the greening of all sectors of the lighting industry by utilizing recent innovations in solid-state lighting, including plasma.

Switch Advanced Lighting Solutions is bringing to market Advanced Plasma Light (APL) fixtures. APL is a high-efficiency, electrode-less, full spectrum, metal halide plasma lighting system. Fixtures use a single driver and single emitter that ignites a small electrode-less bulb. APL is ideal for high luminance areas, as it provides an increased quality of uniform, full spectrum light at drastically lower costs than traditional lighting.

Of note is the advantages of using APL in the workplace. APL provides a consistent high quality light that provides a natural daytime feel that is psychologically pleasing and visually stimulating, factors which are proven to increase productivity and workplace safety.

Advanced Plasma Lighting Features:

       –          100,000-hour lifespan (nearly 12 years running 24/7)

       –          No electrodes result in stability with no mechanical issues

       –          Reduces maintenance costs on bulb and ballast replacement

       –          High lumen retention to eliminate dimming or color change over time
