Arkalumen: ORB3 & ORB5 LED Drivers

March 4, 2025

ORB3 & ORB5 LED Drivers by Arkalumen Provide a Simple & Intelligent Round Light Source

The ORB family of LED drivers innovatively integrate intelligent tunable spectra control features into an incredibly modular Zhaga based form factor, 50mm in diameter, 8mm high. Each unit is a multi-channel constant current driver with up to 5 precisely controlled output channels, a holder for one of many different tunable white or tunable color LED arrays, and a platform for mounting various TIR optics and reflectors.

Customization & Designer Options

Lighting designers and fixture developers gain enormous design flexibility from the ORB’s modular architecture. They can choose either the tunable color 5-channel ORB5 or the tunable white 3-channel ORB3 and decide which control protocol works for their application. Designers can further select the LED array to achieve the desired spectra mix, LES source size, and lumen output and simply insert it. Auto calibration simplifies their programming, though all units can also be customized using a programmer to change intensity levels, CCT mappings, or dim curves.
