Philips Smart Lighting Turns the Home into an Experience from Mood Lighting to Immersive Movie Nights

  • Philips Smart Lighting expands beyond everyday ambiance into a broader, more expressive home lighting experience, from mood setting to full-room entertainment
  • Powered by the WiZ-connected platform, Philips Smart Lighting offers a simple setup, intuitive control and seamless integration across the portfolio
  • New HDMI Sync Box 2.1 brings real-time lighting effects beyond the TV, turning movies, sports and gaming into room-wide experiences

Lighting is stepping out of the background and into the spotlight as Philips Smart Lighting expands its Wi-Fi-based smart lighting portfolio. The new products are designed to help people shape spaces that reflect their mood, personality and lifestyle through lighting that adapts effortlessly to every moment.

Building on its existing range of smart bulbs and accessories, Philips Smart Lighting is expanding into a broader portfolio designed to support both everyday ambiance and immersive entertainment experiences. The expanded range makes it easy to create lighting that does more than illuminate a room. It shapes it.

Entertainment in Sync

A highlight of the portfolio expansion is the Philips Smart Lighting HDMI Sync Box 2.1, designed to bring movies, TV shows and gaming beyond the TV screen and into the room.

It syncs lighting in real time with whatever users are watching or playing through connected HDMI devices. Vivid colour extends beyond the screen and into the surrounding space, making movie nights, game days and gaming sessions feel more immersive, with a setup designed to be simple and easy to use.

Lighting That Moves with You

Philips Smart Lighting is expanding its portfolio of stylish, sync-enabled products, all working seamlessly together through the existing WiZ-connected platform to carry lighting effects across the entire room. With additional LED strip variants and table lamps, consumers can easily adapt and grow their lighting setup in every corner of their home.

Rather than lighting individual points in a room, Philips Smart Lighting enables a connected lighting setup that flows across the entire space. From walls and corners to behind furniture and around the TV, light can be layered to create a cohesive, room-wide environment that adapts to any moment. Whether it’s a relaxed evening or a high-energy watch party, the result is a full-room transformation that feels personal, expressive and instantly impactful, without the need for a complex setup or technical expertise.

A seamless flow of light throughout any space can be tailored to any mood or moment, with key products including:

  • Gradient Floor Lamps and Light Bars: Multicolour lighting with flowing gradient effects that bring walls and surfaces to life, extending colour beyond the screen into a more dynamic experience
  • LED Strip Range: Dynamic, multicolour lighting that creates flowing effects across walls, furniture and layouts, enabling more immersive and personalized setups, including RGBIC, neon and more
  • Smart Dial Switch: A simple, intuitive controller that lets users adjust brightness, colours and scenes instantly with a turn or tap

Effortless Control

All Philips Smart Lighting products are powered by the WiZ app, enabling simple setup, intuitive control and reliable performance across the portfolio. The Wi-Fi-based system does not require an additional hub or bridge, making it easy for users to get started. Users can customize colours, scenes and brightness in seconds, whether they’re setting the tone for a quiet evening or a high-energy movie night.

Lighting is no longer just functional. It’s part of how people experience their home and express themselves through it. With Philips Smart Lighting, we’re making it easy for anyone to create lighting that perfectly fits their mood, the moment and their space.

Mafalda Monteiro, Business Leader Philips Smart Lighting (connected by WiZ)

As connected lighting plays a growing role in how people experience and personalize their homes, Philips Smart Lighting continues to expand its portfolio, combining design, technology and ease of use into a system that works effortlessly.
