ABB Emergi-Lite’s new EHV Series high-visibility edge-lit pictogram sign is crafted for high-ceiling spaces such as distribution centres, shopping malls, sports facilities, and transportation hubs. This sleek series offers enhanced visibility during emergencies while also blending seamlessly into everyday built environments.

The EHV Series isn’t just a pictogram sign—it’s a carefully engineered safety solution for egress paths, designed to outperform standard LED 6″ high pictogram signs. Compared to backlit window-type exit signage, the EHV Series’ edge-lit design offers a more sophisticated look with one thick solid panel that will not kink, fog or frost up, blending functionality with aesthetics.

Specifications

Supply and install the Emergi-Lite EHV Series aluminum high-visibility edge-lit pictogram sign. The unit shall operate with universal 2-wire AC input voltage of 120 to 347VAC at less than 3W and universal 2-wire DC input voltage from 6 to 24VDC at less than 2.5W. The housing assembly shall be constructed of extruded aluminum with textured finish and colour. The canopy shall be of die-cast aluminum and allow for wall or ceiling mount. The legend shall be printed on a pure acrylic panel. The panel shall come standard with double-face legend, or single-face applications.

The light source shall be long-life white light-emitting diodes (LED) and shall provide even illumination in normal and emergency operation. The pictogram edge-lit sign in a self-powered configuration shall use a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery of 3.2V nominal voltage and shall stay illuminated during emergency operation for at least two hours upon AC failure.
