Cyclone Lighting announced that it has released its new version of the T3M optical lens. This lens was specifically designed for cities seeking to modernize their lighting infrastructure by replacing prismatic globes with full-cutoff luminaires. The T3M optical lens is a full cutoff lens with a BUG rating of U0, ensuring 0% uplight. It provides a light distribution as wide as a prismatic globe, with precise control at 80, exceptional uniformity, and significantly reduced glare. It was intended to replace Acorn-style prismatic globe luminaires, thereby eliminating uplight and supporting the reduction of light pollution. And unlike standard T3 optical lenses, the T3M supports existing pole spacing without creating dark zones between luminaires.
