Illuminating Healthcare Spaces: Acuity Brands Announces Nano-CEU Webinar Series

Acuity Brands, Inc recently announced the launch of the Nano-CEU Webinar Series: Illuminating Healthcare Spaces. 

This six-week series of 30-minute continuing education accredited presentations is designed to provide a total of 3 CEU credits. The series will be presented by Tommy Nichols, LC, Business Development Director for Healthcare at Acuity Brands. 

What You’ll Learn

In this weekly Nano-CEU webinar series, participants will first explore the lighting needs and design trends of four different healthcare spaces. The series will then delve into the ratings and standards to consider when lighting these spaces. Finally, participants will focus on applying evidence-based lighting design techniques to enhance the patient experience and support caregiver effectiveness.

  • August 22, 2:00 PM EST – .5 LU | HSW: Illuminating Evidence-Based Lighting Design for Healthcare

Continuing Education Credits 

The courses in this series are registered for continuing education credits with the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Completion of each course will be reported to AIA CES for members who provide their membership credentials. Each course is registered for .5 LU | HSW and completing the entire series will equal 3 LU | HSW. 

Certificates of participation for all attendees are available upon request. Instructions for requesting a certificate will be provided at the end of each course. These courses are designed for continuing professional education and do not constitute an endorsement of any materials or products by the organizations with which the content is registered.  

These courses may also be suitable for Continuing Education Credits with other organizations that accept self-reported CEU/PDH. Please check with the organization from which you are seeking credit for their criteria. Acuity Brands is a registered provider with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE), and these courses are suitable for submission for credits by members.
