Sales Agency Agreement with RLA Positions Acuity Brands well to Compete in this Established and Growing Service Station Market

Acuity Brands, Inc. recently announced an expansion into the re-fueling vertical, which includes service stations, convenience stores and quick-service restaurants. They are reimagining the customer experience using solutions specifically developed for these applications, in addition to other existing products from their lighting and controls portfolio.

They have entered into sales agency agreement with Red Leonard Associates, Inc. (RLA), one of the leading independent sales agents in this vertical, servicing the Midwest, Northeast, and Canada, positioning the company well to compete in this established and growing market.

“We continue to make investments for future growth, prioritizing new verticals where we have not historically competed or where we are under-penetrated.” said Trevor Palmer, President, Acuity Brands Lighting and Controls. “The combination of our portfolio of industry-leading lighting and controls products, alongside RLA’s 50 years of deep industry knowledge, positions us well to provide unique solutions for convenience stores, service stations and adjoining quick service restaurants where we have not broadly competed.”
