Hubbell Canada’s Website Goes Bilingual

EIN Hubbell Can 400

June 16, 2021

As of Thursday, June 3, 2021, the Hubbell Canada website is available in both French and English.

A priority for Hubbell Canada in 2021, they have put a great deal of work into the quality of the translations to ensure accuracy for technical terms, trade names and content. A lot of work went into the back-end automation that will allow them to easily add new content and effortlessly share it to their production environment so that additional translations appear in real time.

“While a significant number of our fast-moving products in our online catalog are currently showing description and selling features in French, the translation of our remaining product offering is a work in progress. We have a plan to continue to release batches of new products regularly through the balance of the year until we complete the project in its entirety. Static assets such as drawings and specification sheets are not part of the scope of our translation,” said Jason Bedford, Director of Digital Marketing, Hubbell Canada.

“In addition to product information, the navigation of our site is now completely available in both French and English. Simply choose your preferred language from the top banner and begin your Hubbell Canada web journey. Over 400 static content pages have been translated including our Markets, Solutions and Resources pages. Our Cross Reference, Submittal Builder, Distributor Locator and Search functions also now work in French.”
