A-Light Expands Aloft Family with Aloft 3D

August 1, 2024

Linear Aloft pendants now offered with laser-printed metallic joiners for preconfigured and bespoke patterns

A-Light is pleased to announce the expansion of its Aloft family to include Aloft 3D laser-printed metallic joiners. The joiners allow the creation of impactful, elaborate lighting arrangements when used with Aloft linear luminaires.

Design options for creating shapes with Aloft have been significantly expanded with the introduction of 3D-printed metal joiner components. Designers can choose from eight preconfigured patterns or work with A-Light’s Design Assist team to produce unique shapes and sizes. The suspended luminaires create visual impact in a range of sizes for a wide variety of spaces. A small arrangement can bring illumination and a distinctive look to a conference room, while a large cluster can transform a lobby space with a signature aesthetic.

Three joiner options are available. 90° joiners give the flexibility to create structured-looking shapes in more traditional forms and angles. Organic joiners craft a more elegant shape with branch-like angles from 40° to 60°. Finally, designers can use stack joiners to experiment with layers of light tubes with angles from 30° up to 50°.

Each linear segment of Aloft 3D can be specified with a different light option, or unlit, to create unique looks that can be adjusted on-site. Standard finishes include white, titanium, and black. Choose RAL or custom paint colors to match branding or specific aesthetic requirements. For a more natural charm, seven wood-look finishes are available.

The Aloft family is enabled with the nLight network control system to manage lighting throughout indoor spaces, reducing energy costs and improving occupant comfort. All Aloft luminaires are assembled in America and comply with the Buy America(n) Act (BAA) government procurement requirements under FAR, DFARS, and DOT.
