Philips EasySense: SNS200 Now DLC Qualified

February 20, 2017

Philips now offers a single, compact cost-effective fixture control.

The SNS102 for basic grouping offers combined occupancy sensing, daylight harvesting and task tuning through per-fixture control and grouping to wireless switches. The sensor meets use cases for auto-off/manual-on (vacancy sensing) and auto-off/partial-on, offers common pre-sets, and works out of the box. The sensor provides Android app-based configuring and grouping.

The SNS200 for advanced grouping is suitable for occupancy sharing. Program the sensor so that light levels for peripheral fixtures stay at task or background level if occupancy is detected elsewhere in the group. Easily create preset scenes for your group, such as presentation mode for a conference room to lower light levels near the screen and keep higher levels in the back of the room.

The sensor is DLC qualified — listed in the DLC Qualified Products List (QPL) for networked lighting control (NLC) systems, and has all the great features of SNS102 for basic grouping.

Simple design-in

Philips EasySense fixture-mount sensors are connected to Philips Advance Xitanium SR LED drivers with two simple wires to reduce design-in complexity and facilitate installation while becoming an integral part of energy-saving and code-compliancy strategies.

The sensors are part of energy-saving and code-compliancy strategies without hindering project time or aesthetics. A single-box format reduces installation time and eliminates the need to wire sensors outside the fixture in the ceiling, so projects can be completed quickly and with reduced chance of errors.

Integrated sensors blend within the luminaire, leaving the ceiling uncluttered.
