Design Freedom

Similar pendant products on the market are made with materials that may cost more in both manufacturability and raw materials. For example, some of the 3D printed textures might emulate ceramic textures … With 3D printing technology, a designer can be inspired by a texture, create it digitally, then apply it to a lighting fixture.

Compliance

PrentaLux 3D printed products are BAA, or Buy American Compliant. Products are UL and cUL listed. And, these products are RoHS compliant.

Translucency. 3D printed lighting products have options that replicate the illusion of glass allowing the flow of light to change with movement.

Applications

Prentalux 3D Printing products are positioned to be used in both hospitality settings as well as when performance lighting is needed. Mixing these different lighting shapes and colors will also generate the best combination of aesthetics that can help define mood, ambiance, and adequate levels of light.

Adaptive Design

3D printing has been around for some time, but the way in which Cooper Lighting Solutions is approaching this technology allows the designer to control the outcome of the shape, colour, and texture of light.

New colours that are on trend can easily be introduced. Textures that inspire a designer, can be applied. And geometric shapes that are within the limits of the printers capabilities, can be formed.
