Dim Drive: Solution for 24V LED Tape, Bars & Other Constant Voltage Fixtures in Residential, Commercial & Retail Projects

At Magic Lite, innovation meets simplicity. The Dim Drive is a breakthrough constant voltage LED driver that combines power supply, dimming, and on/off control in one compact device. Designed to fit neatly inside a standard single-gang or multi-gang electrical switch box, Dim Drive saves time, reduces clutter, and delivers smooth flicker-free lighting performance.

Available in 60W (DD-2460-S-WH) and 100W (DD-24100-S-WH) models, Dim Drive is the perfect solution for 24V LED tape, bars, and other constant voltage fixtures in residential, commercial, and retail projects.

Engineered for Seamless Installation

Dim Drive’s biggest advantage? It’s engineered to mount directly into a standard single-gang or multi-gang wall switch box. That means no need for remote enclosures tucked away in ceilings, no oversized drivers hidden in cabinetry, and no messy wiring runs to track down later. Everything is contained where users expect it — right at the switch.

By combining a 24V LED driver, integrated dimmer, and on/off control into one compact housing, Dim Drive streamlines installation and eliminates common headaches. Electricians and contractors appreciate the reduced labor time and simplified wiring, while homeowners and designers value the clean, finished look that doesn’t require extra wall space or unsightly external boxes.

The experience for end-users is just as seamless. Instead of dealing with a separate control system, Dim Drive feels natural and intuitive — it functions like a familiar wall switch but delivers far more capability. And because it’s fully compatible with 3-way switches, Dim Drive also supports multi-location control, making it ideal for kitchens, hallways, large living rooms, or commercial spaces where convenience and flexibility are essential.

Flicker-Free, Flexible Control

Dim Drive eliminates the compatibility issues that plague traditional driver + dimmer setups. Its integrated design ensures consistent, flicker-free performance across the full light range.

  • Dimming Range: 0.3%–100%
  • PWM Output: 16 kHz, flicker-free and silent
  • Control: Integrated on/off switch + 3-way switch support

The result is smooth, reliable lighting control that works with today’s most demanding LED applications

Compact Size, Big Performance

Despite fitting inside a standard switch box, Dim Drive is built to perform:

  • 91% efficiency at full load
  • Active Power Factor Correction (PF >0.99)
  • Natural convection cooling — no fans, no noise
  • Wide operating range: −40°C to +60°C

Both the 60W and 100W versions share the same compact footprint: 4.13” × 2.13” × 2” (105 × 54 × 51 mm).

Safety You Can Trust

Dim Drive is protected by multiple built-in safeguards:

  • Short-circuit auto-recovery
  • Overload protection (>110% hiccup mode)
  • Over-temperature shut-off with auto-recovery

It’s fully certified to cUL, UL, FCC, Class P, SELV, RoHS, and REACH standards, ensuring code compliance and long-term peace of mind. Every unit is backed by Magic Lite’s 5-year limited warranty.

Two Models, Endless Possibilities

  • DD-2460-S-WH (60W) – Compact driver/dimmer for under-cabinet, task, or small LED tape runs.
  • DD-24100-S-WH (100W) – Higher-capacity model for extended tape runs, cove lighting, and multi-fixture installations.

Both provide 120VAC input to 24VDC constant voltage output, making them ideal for all Magic Lite 24V tape lights, light bars, and custom architectural fixtures.

Where to Use Dim Drive

  • Residential Kitchens & Offices — under-cabinet and task lighting
  • Retail & Hospitality Spaces — flicker-free accent lighting that enhances comfort
  • Cove & Architectural Features — smooth dimming for design-driven installs
  • Multi-Gang Control Setups — where space and simplicity matter
  • Custom Millwork Projects — concealed power and dimming in one device

Why Magic Lite Dim Drive?

For more than 40 years, Magic Lite has introduced innovative lighting products that make life easier for contractors and more beautiful for end-users. Dim Drive continues that tradition — merging driver, dimmer, and switch into a single, switch-box-ready package.

With its compact design, powerful protections, and effortless installation, Dim Drive redefines what a low-voltage LED driver can be. Choose 60W for everyday installs or step up to 100W for larger projects — either way, you’ll enjoy a smarter, cleaner, more reliable approach to lighting control.
