Eaton has helped improve the lighting performance and energy efficiency in a campus recreation facility at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. By replacing almost 400 lighting fixtures in three gymnasiums at the Activities and Recreation Center with Metalux HBLED high-bay light-emitting diode (LED) luminaires, the university’s projected cost avoidance is estimated to be as high as US$70,500 annually.

Designed to work primarily with 0-10V sink luminaires, this sensor is a versatile addition to your lighting control system. The CMS SSA family by SensorSwitch is a wireless ceiling/surface mount occupancy sensor that provides a range of solutions for applications with finished ceilings (e.g., ceiling tiles, sheetrock, plaster). The CMS SSA family utilizes digital Passive Infrared (PIR) detection and is available with two lens options, offering flexibility for various mounting heights and coverage pattern requirements. Dual-technology occupancy detection can also be added as an option for applications where occupants remain stationary for long periods. All sensors feature integrated on/off photocells, with standard automatic daylight harvesting and dimming control. The CMS SSA family sensors are powered by the PP5 SSA supply and typically communicate with one or more SensorSwitch AIR devices in a group.
