Submissions Open for LightSPEC Design Excellence Awards

Sponsored by the Lighting Controls Association, the LightSPEC Design Excellence Awards recognize exceptional innovation in lighting design projects. The awards will be presented during the Opening Session at the inaugural LightSPEC West conference and exhibition scheduled for September 21-22, 2022 in Los Angeles, CA. In addition, winners will be featured in LEDs magazine with additional coverage in Architectural SSL, BUILDINGS and I+S magazines. 

Submission Criteria:

  • Submission dates: June 13 – July 20, 2022
  • Projects need to be completed after January 1, 2019  
  • Awards based on controls and integration 
  • Categories: indoor lighting, outdoor lighting, whole project (interior and exterior), campus/complex (multi-building sites), exhibition or entertainment/cultural projects 
Cost to Apply:
  • Early Bird rate through July 8, 2022 – $295
  • Standard rate July 9 – 20, 2022 – $395
