Eaton Lighting recently announced the new HALO Home Voice downlight with Amazon Alexa built-in. Combining the latest in HALO Home technology and voice control, the recessed LED light in the HALO Home Smart Lighting System integrates into the home and provides seamless access to Alexa.

Using the HALO Home Accessory Dimmer, the HALO Home Voice downlight will remain connected, allowing homeowners to use voice commands even when the light is turned off.

“Eaton’s HALO Home Voice downlight features voice-first capabilities that make it easy for customers to manage their lighting and more from throughout the room,” said Pete Thompson, vice president, Alexa Voice Service. “With Alexa built-in, you can control smart home devices, hear the news, access tens of thousands of skills, and more – hands-free.”

With two microphones, a quad core processor and enough RAM to support all Alexa has to offer, this product is designed to continue delivering conveniences and intuitive, easy control to every member of the household. Users can easily set up the downlight using the HALO Home app, and then configure voice settings using the HALO Voice app for iOS or Android.
