New Laws are Banning Fluorescents

LEDs are the standard for luminaires, and recently Canada and some US states have begun to enact laws that ban fluorescent lamps. Now is the time to replace your fluorescent ballasts and lamps with an LED upgrade.

Lutron Will Stop Selling Fluorescent Ballasts

In response to the industry’s standardization around LEDs, Lutron will stop selling ballasts by the end of 2023. Ballasts are only available now, for a limited time, and in short supply.

You have LED upgrade options.

Lutron will work with you to plan, phase, and budget a smooth fluorescent-to-LED transition. Choose between simple retrofits, system upgrades, or a hybrid of both.

Deploy simple TLED retrofit kits.

Replace your fluorescent lamps and ballasts with LED lamps and drivers – no need to rewire. Kitted retrofit options are available from C-Flex or choose your favorite TLED manufacturer.

Upgrade your legacy control system.

Take advantage of a cloud-connected, smart lighting control system – including advanced energy and space utilization reporting – while updating to LEDs. Lutron specialists can help you reuse as much of your existing equipment as possible.
