LED Roadway Lighting Ltd. Receives the Michelin Innovation in Manufacturing Award

The Michelin Innovation in Manufacturing Award was presented to Halifax-based clean technology company, LED Roadway Lighting Ltd. at the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) Annual General Meeting and Conference held in Dartmouth (NS) on Thursday, May 30, 2019. The award was given in recognition of LED Roadway Lighting’s innovative sensor product DAP (Data Acquisition Platform) and was presented to Charles A. Cartmill (CEO) and Ken Cartmill (Vice President of Product Development).

DAP (Data Acquisition Platform)
The DAP controller (formerly known as the TSP, Tool-less Sensor Platform) is a new and innovative lighting control platform for smart cities. DAP provides the ultimate platform for integrating Smart City sensors (Traffic Counting, Traffic Flow Analysis, Speed Mapping, Acoustic Sensing, Pollution Sensing, and Emergency Vehicle Alerts) into your infrastructure. DAP was previously recognized as a Sapphire Awards finalist in the Smart and Connected SSL Enabling Technologies category and recognized by the 2018 IES Illuminating Society Progress Awards.
