Eaton Calls for Entries for 42nd Annual Source Awards

Eaton has issued a call for entries for its 42nd Annual Source Awards lighting design competition. Recognizing and honouring the bright future of the lighting design industry, the awards are part of Eaton’s commitment to building the pipeline of lighting design talent. 

The Source Awards are open to students who use Eaton’s lighting fixtures and controls products in a conceptual interior or exterior lighting design. University students studying architecture, design, engineering or related disciplines are invited to enter. The grand prize is US$2,000. Also available: 

  • up to five honourable mention prizes worth US$500 each. Examples of potential honourable mention awards include creativity, best use of natural light, controls integration, energy efficiency and customization
  • special award of recognition, presented at the judges’ discretion

Since its inception, the Source Awards lighting design competition has granted nearly US$1 million to winners as well as industry-wide recognition for their efforts.
