March 6: Certify This — The IES/UL Challenge

Emerging lighting professionals: get your hands dirty and learn how lighting fixtures get certified by seeing and doing in this competition that will harness your analytical process and team work skills to defeat other teams.

Taking place at UL’s Lighting Safety Lab in Toronto and hosted by UL and IES, this event will give you a unique opportunity to observe, learn and explore the testing and certification process of lighting products before they enter the North American market. 

During this evening event, work with a team to solve problems using qualitative and quantitative tests to determine if your fixture can be certified. There are prizes to be won!
