Light, technology and design will converge to reveal new solutions, new knowledge and new discoveries at Lightfair International (LFI) 2016. The world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference will be staged for the first time in San Diego April 24-28, 2016. The Pre-Conference Lightfair Institute takes place April 24-25; the Trade Show & Conference, April 26-28.

Trade show floor and pavilion areas will be expanded for the 27th annual event with new exhibitors present across multiple categories. LFI 2016 will deliver further expansion of categories including: controls, decorative, alternative energy including solar power, software, exterior and roadway, digital signage, healthcare and hospitality.

Networking events will continue to be an attractive part of the Lightfair experience. The popular LFI Spotlight Lounge will take on a new name this year — The HUB — to reflect the nature of the space and events that take place there. It is an interactive meeting place where those in the lighting and design community connect with colleagues from across the globe for networking, education and fun.

Preceding and setting the stage for the trade show opening, the prestigious LFI Innovation Awards will highlight the industry’s most innovative products and designs introduced in the last 12 months.
