Eureka Introduces Cirra Luminaire

January 21, 2025

Eureka: Minimalist, Thermoformed Family Offers Powerful Yet Low-Glare Illumination

Eureka announced on January 9, 2025, the release of its Cirra luminaire. The scalable family features a sleek design and sound-absorbing material for a variety of spaces.

Cirra luminaire is square, with soft, rounded edges, creating a unique shape that adds a welcoming feel to modern spaces. Clean lines and hidden hardware contribute to a seamless, refined aesthetic that is suitable for lobbies, corporate meeting areas, collaboration spaces, workstations, or lounges.

In 15″, 24″, or 35″ diameters, Cirra is offered as a cable mount pendant or surface mount; the smaller 15″ version may also be selected with a pendant stem mount. The luminaire is 4.2″ in height, contributing to a minimalist look and feel, regardless of size.

Cirra’s outer form is synthetic felt composed of 50% (by weight) recycled polyethylene (PET) felt, which helps to reduce ambient sound in a space. Designers may choose from 12 standard or 12 premium colors. The accompanying power cable is available with an optional textile braided cord in 12 assorted colors. Felt and cable colors can be mixed and matched for a unique aesthetic.

A delicately thermoformed acrylic diffuser reduces glare, creating soft, direct illumination. The 35″ version of Cirra delivers more than 16,000 lumens of direct lighting that is powerful yet comfortable. Pendants are also available with an optional uplight to bring attention to a unique ceiling or to enhance a room’s ambiance.

Various control options are available for Cirra, including 0-10V dimming, phase dimming, nLight or nLight AIR GEN 2.
