TM-21-21, Projecting Long-Term Luminous, Photon, and Radiant Flux Maintenance of LED Light Sources

March 2, 2022

In 2011, The IES published TM-21 “Projecting Long Term Lumen Maintenance of LED Light Sources.”  This method was quickly adopted globally for projecting lumen maintenance of Solid-State Lighting sources.  In 2021 the IES Test Procedures Committee (TPC) revised this document to expand its scope in terms of the types of flux maintenance and also to include interpolation between different drive currents.

With the publication of ANSI/IES TM-21-21, the IES will also be launching a web-based calculation tool for projecting flux maintenance.  Join us for this educational session on TM-21 to learn about the revisions and reasons behind the revisions as well as an introduction to the web-based calculation tool.
