Lightenco Named One of Ottawa’s 10 Fastest Growing Companies of 2018

May 17, 2018

Help businesses reduce their lighting costs with enhanced lighting systems has earned Lightenco (Lighting Enhancement Corporation) a spot on the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce’s top 10 list of fastest growing companies for 2018. Applicants must be headquartered in the National Capital Region, and earn sustainable revenues of at least $100,000 in year one and at least $500,000 in year three.

Lightenco comprises an award-winning team of lighting designers working with businesses in Ontario and Quebec. The company calculates it has saved 13 GWh or 13,000,000 kWh of energy via Hydro Ottawa conservation programs in the city. That’s equivalent to taking about 1100 average homes off grid.

Winners’ profiles were published in the May 7 issue of the Ottawa Business Journal, and will be honoured at a May 24 reception. The journal report celebrated entrepreneurship and successful management practices used by local companies.
