At Refine Fitness Studio, thoughtful design meets purposeful lighting to create a space centered around movement, focus, and community. Designed by RSAAW and captured by Kimia Zolfaghari, this wellness studio is a reflection of calm, clarity, and intentional design—where every detail works together to support the guest experience.
A Space Designed for Wellness
Within a compact footprint, the studio brings together an open workout area, a welcoming reception space, integrated storage, and accessible support areas. The design balances function and atmosphere, creating a seamless flow from arrival to practice. Warm plaster walls, soft wood tones, and carefully crafted millwork establish a grounded, inviting feel. Subtle architectural elements—like arches and custom features—add rhythm and identity, while natural light enhances the front of the space.
The result is a studio that feels both refined and practical: a place built for strength, restoration, and community.
From Garage Beginnings to a Purpose-Built Studio
What started as a small group training out of a garage quickly grew into something more meaningful. Built on connection, consistency, and shared goals, the vision for Refine Fitness Studio evolved into a dedicated space designed to support both physical and mental well-being.
That same intention carries through in the finished studio—where every design decision contributes to a cohesive and elevated experience.
Lighting as a Defining Element

Throughout the studio, VARO Architectural Linear fixtures serve as the primary lighting solution, bringing both visual structure and performance to the space.
The project features white 4′ 50W VARO fixtures, with ten units spanning the main studio ceiling and additional fixtures extending into the entrance area. Their clean, linear design complements the architectural elements, reinforcing the studio’s modern and minimal aesthetic.
