EFC Welcomes Gil Ofek as New Vice Chair for the Lighting Business Section

EFC is pleased to announce Gil Ofek, Liteline, as the new Vice Chair for the Lighting business section. Gil is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the lighting industry. He currently serves as the Director of Product Management at Liteline Corporation, a leading lighting manufacturer in Canada. In this role, Gil is responsible for overseeing the development and management of Liteline’s diverse product portfolio, ensuring that the company’s offerings meet the evolving needs of the market.

In addition to his role at Liteline, Gil is a board member at Product Care, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to managing extended producer responsibility (EPR) recycling programs for lighting and other household products across North America. His involvement in Product Care reflects his commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility in the lighting industry.

Before joining Liteline, Gil held various positions in product management and engineering, where he honed his skills in product development, strategic planning, and team leadership. His comprehensive understanding of the lighting industry and commitment to innovation have been instrumental in driving the success of the products he manages.

Throughout his career, Gil has demonstrated a passion for creating high-quality, energy-efficient lighting solutions. His expertise in product management and dedication to excellence continue to contribute to the advancement of lighting technology and the success of both Liteline Corporation and Product Care.
