Aaline’s Provides Greater Transparency with 1st Declare Label: Linear Embedded ECO

June 29, 2023

aaline is pleased to announce that the Linear Embedded ECO has received a Declare label from the International Living Future Institute!

Declare is an internationally recognized transparency platform to disclose and discover healthy building products. Like a nutrition label for products, Declare shows customers that aaline product’s are ones they can trust. The building industry accounts for 39% of global carbon emissions every year. Aaline clients and consumers have been demanding greater transparency and more decisive action against climate change and its effects on human health. By achieving the Declare label, the company aligns themselves with over 200 diverse manufacturers across 23 CSI specification sections, meeting the market’s demand for stringent transparency.

The Declare label is the only product label that combines material transparency and the Living Building Challenge Red List, distilling intricate chemical ingredient information into a comprehensible label and screening it against the Red List.

Designers rely on this label to select sustainable and health-conscious products and use it as a tool to advocate for the inclusion of aaline’s products in their projects. Additionally, it offers a pathway for their product to contribute to initiatives such as the Living Building Challenge.
