MaxLite Names Frank Molander VP of C&I Utility Markets and Horticulture Business

MaxLite has announced the appointment of Frank Molander as vice president of commercial and industrial utility markets and the newly formed horticulture business unit.

Molander will lead a team of sales and product development experts to expand MaxLite’s LED product offering and warranties in these strategic growth markets. He will report directly to President and CEO Spencer Bolgard.

“Frank is a recognized industry veteran in the utility market with keen insights on trends and opportunities for emerging technologies,” Bolgard said. “His strong background in energy efficiency and key industry relationships will position MaxLite for success in these significant growth areas.”

Molander joins MaxLite from ICF, where he directed the national products team and supported the company’s midstream and e-commerce initiatives. Molander has more than 20 years of experience working to design, sell and implement programs for utilities and other energy efficiency organizations. He spent 14 years with Applied Proactive Technologies, Inc. (APT) where he worked first as program manager, and then as director of business development to help grow APT to a multimillion dollar business when APT was acquired by CLEAResult.

Molander holds a Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School. He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and political science from Saint Lawrence University.
