Enter LAMP’s 2019 International Lighting Design Competition

October 18, 2018

The sixth edition of LAMP is sending out a call for entries to designers worldwide to submit their designs to be juried by some of the industry’s top professionals. Deadline for submissions: January 31, 2019.

LAMP aims to introduce a broader audience to lighting design while promoting and connecting emerging talents to new markets. Each year the competition challenges designers to approach their lighting fixtures with the guidance of a theme. The 2019 theme is texture.

Top 10 finalists from each of three categories — Student, Emerging and Established — will be displayed at the annual LAMP Exhibition that opens the IDS Vancouver Offsite Programming.

For the 2019 competition, LAMP is partnering with Design Milk, an online magazine dedicated to modern design, Design Milk offers what’s new in art, architecture, interior design, furniture and decor, fashion and technology.
