Intertek Warns of Unauthorized ETL Certification Mark on Shenzhen Self-Ballasted T8 LED Tubes

Intertek Warns of Unauthorized ETL Certification Mark on Shenzhen Self-Ballasted T8 LED TubesShenzhen Ledsion Lighting Technology Co., Ltd. self-ballasted T8 LED tubes identified in the photo bear unauthorized Intertek certification marks for Canada and the United States. 

The 4FT 18W and 18 W T8 DIM tubes are branded “Enviro-Light Solutions.” The unauthorized ETL mark appears as follows: ETL certification mark with adjacent date code (i.e., 2015/8) • ETL certification mark with no control number • ETL certification mark with adjacent control number 4007161.

Intertek advises against using the products; instead, returning them to the point of purchase. Distributors and retailer should discontinue sales and return all inventories to their supplier.
