Lumenpulse Constructing New Head Office and Immersive Experience Centre

December 5, 2016

Lumenpulse Group has begun construction of its future head office in Longueuil, Quebec.

The new facility will include an immersive experience centre unique to the company.

Speaking on behalf of the company, Lumenpulse President and CEO François-Xavier Souvay says they are proud to see the beginnings of a new innovation centre for Lumenpulse, including their first immersive experience centre in Quebec, a learning centre for LED lighting. “This new environment will encourage creativity in our teams and embody the image of our company and our products. With this new green building, we will be doubling our current space,” he says.

The new leased space, more than 140,000 square feet, will house the Lumenpulse Group’s existing manufacturing operations, a testing centre, design and engineering activities, as well as the company’s headquarters. By fall 2017, close to 300 employees will have moved into the new premises.

“Building a head office in Longueuil for an innovative company of the size and calibre of Lumenpulse speaks to our city’s economic vitality,” says Longeuil Mayor St-Hilaire. “It is a strategic choice that will generate a host of benefits. We are pleased to welcome this world-class company, which is experiencing steady growth and this, with a sustainable product portfolio and clean technologies.”

The building, located on Marie-Victorin Boulevard, will be built and owned by Montoni, a sustainable building expert, in collaboration with the architectural firm Lemay, engineering firm Dupras Ledoux, and lighting design company Ombrages. Once completed, the building will be submitted for LEED certification.

“We’re especially proud to contribute to the success and advancement of Lumenpulse, a Quebec company, by starting work on its new head office,” says Dario Montoni, President of Montoni “Our teams have pooled their expertise for this innovative project, which will meet the highest criteria for excellence in sustainable building, in keeping with the wishes of the company’s management. With this building and its immersive experience centre, Lumenpulse’s employees will soon have access to a completely redesigned, state-of-the-art workplace that will pay tribute to their imagination.”

This major project is part of the continued expansion of the LED lighting company, whose sales have grown from $62 million to $145 million over the past two years.
