NEMRA has a history of reaching out to diverse members to solicit input to drive the association. Many, over the years, have served in leadership roles and many more have the opportunity throughout the year to have their voice heard for various initiatives.

In keeping with this tradition, NEMRA recently shared:

The National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of one officer to its Board of Directors and three new members to the Executive Committee of the NEMRA Manufacturers Group (NMG), effective February 6, 2025. NEMRA serves as a leading voice in the electrical industry, championing the value and advocacy of independent manufacturers’ representatives. The NEMRA Manufacturers Group (NMG) unites manufacturers who primarily partner with independent representatives to drive market success and enhance industry collaboration.

NEMRA Board of Directors Appointment

NEMRA welcomes Darren Gerrietts, CPMR, Bay Electrical Solutions, Fox Point, WI, to its Board of Directors.

“We are excited to have Darren join the Board,” said Jim Johnson, President of NEMRA. “His extensive industry expertise and fresh perspective will strengthen our efforts to advance NEMRA’s mission and serve our members effectively.”

NEMRA Appointments to the NMG (NEMRA Manufacturer Group) Executive Committee

The NMG Executive Committee also welcomes three distinguished leaders:

  • Adrienne Sander, Vice President of Sales, Milbank
  • Chris Chickanosky, CEO, Halco Lighting Technologies
  • Richard Temblador, Vice President of Product and Business Development, Arlington Industries

“Collaboration between representatives and manufacturers is critical for driving growth, strengthening market share, and fostering channel partnerships,” said Johnson. “These new members exemplify this spirit of collaboration and bring a wealth of knowledge, vision, and energy to the NMG Executive Committee.”

NEMRA Lighting Advisory Council

“The National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA) Lighting Division proudly unveils the formation of its inaugural Advisory Council, a distinguished group of industry leaders selected for their expertise, innovation, and commitment to advancing the future of the lighting sector.

We are deeply honored by the willingness of these distinguished leaders to support and guide the NEMRA Lighting Division as we chart a bold course for the future,” said Jeff Bristol, Divisional Vice President of NEMRA Lighting. “Their insights and influence will be instrumental in driving NEMRA Lighting’s growth, strengthening our value proposition, and solidifying our position as the preeminent force in the lighting industry.”

The Advisory Council will serve as a strategic powerhouse, providing critical guidance on emerging trends, market evolution, and the latest technologies shaping the lighting landscape. With their expertise, council members will help chart NEMRA Lighting’s strategic direction, ensuring the division not only keeps pace with the industry’s rapid transformation but also leads the charge in meeting the evolving needs of its members.

The council will focus on advancing NEMRA’s foundational pillars: advocacy, training and development, and networking opportunities. These key areas are vital to NEMRA Lighting’s mission to provide support to lighting agencies while fostering stronger, more collaborative partnerships between agents and manufacturers.

The formation of the NEMRA Lighting Division Advisory Council marks a significant milestone in the association’s ongoing efforts to shape the future of the lighting sector. Through their leadership, the council will ensure that NEMRA Lighting remains at the forefront of the industry while empowering members to thrive in an ever-changing market.

The Role of the Advisory Council

Comprised of industry professionals with deep expertise in lighting technology, manufacturing, and distribution, the NEMRA Lighting Advisory Council will play a pivotal role in steering the division’s strategic initiatives. The council will advise NEMRA leadership on key decisions, help shape educational and advocacy programs and collaborate with industry stakeholders to provide targeted resources and support for lighting agents.
