IES Toronto: 2018 Emerging Professionals Luminaire Challenge

March 17, 2018

The IES Toronto Section’s 2018 Luminaire Design Challenge is open to all emerging professionals — working in the lighting industry or related field for 5 years or less, including students.

Participants will work in teams and design, build, and present their own luminaire to a panel of judges, and prizes will be awarded to the top teams. Each team will be given a variety of materials to work with. Guidance and inspiration will be provided by mentors who will be available to assist when needed. The competition is an all-day event taking place Saturday April 28, 2018 at the Ryerson School of Design.
