A.C. Lighting Names Jean Louis Blanchard as VP of Business Development

January 10, 2018

A.C. Lighting has entered into an era of growth, the company says, and the hiring of Blanchard “unfolds the commencement of the company’s strategic development plan for growth, to provide their clients with world class products, backed by world class service.”

For over 30 years Blanchard has played a leading role in the audiovisual and multimedia industry. His expertise in distribution and go-to-market strategies is widely recognized and he has collaborated with some of the most influential distributors and manufacturers in the industry.

As VP of business development, Blanchard’s mandate is to oversee and drive the overall growth of the company in North America.

“I am thrilled to join such a great organization,” says Blanchard. “As a Business Consultant, I have been working closely with AC Lighting’s Management Team over the past 18 months and I know that we share the same vision and values. We have ambitious objectives for the company going forward and I am confident that we have the means, resources, experience and know-how to meet these objectives.”

“Fred Mikeska and I have known Jean Louis for many years and we are glad to see him joining A.C. Lighting,” adds JF Canuel, managing director for North America. “Over the past few months Jean Louis has worked closely with us in crafting our 5 Year Strategic Development Plan. In my opinion, he is the ideal person to take over responsibility for leading our troops and unfolding our strategic development plan.”
