Nora Lighting Expands LED Retrofit Downlight Line-up

December 19, 2016

Nora Lighting features one of the industry’s most comprehensive lines of LED recessed downlights for retrofit, remodel and new construction installations. With a wide range of models and styles, all Nora LED retrofits offer 90+ CRI for realistic colour rendition and a choice of Kelvin temperatures, lumens and apertures. Among the newest LED retrofits are the Iolite, Cobalt and Onyx series.

Iolite is available with 1”, 2” and 4” apertures for a minimal architectural appearance and features an LED core module, which is compatible with dedicated patent pending downlight housings in various dimming and voltage options. It produces 600 to 800 lumens and the 2” and 4” models have various adjustable configurations.

Each Iolite includes a 60° beam spread (installed), along with 25° and 40° reflectors. A 15° beam spread is optional as well as snoots, frosted and coloured collars.

Reflectors are field changeable without tools.

The Cobalt Series is designed for use in existing IC or non-IC housings manufactured by Nora and others and is available in 4”, 5” and 6” in square and round apertures with a 750 and 1000 lumen output. A spun aluminum trim has deep-set diffused lens for visual comfort, and reflector or baffle trim styles are available. Cobalt downlights include Cree’s latest COB family of LED arrays, delivering brighter illumination and lower power consumption.

Nora’s Onyx is offered in 4” and a 5/6” apertures with 650 to 750 lumens. Baffle or reflector trims are available with a medium base socket adaptor for easy retrofitting in recessed housings by Nora and others. Onyx has deep-set optics for visual comfort and produces even illumination without an LED diode image.
